Founded by a visionary who had previously worked with the Aerospace Defense industry, Coverking today is ranked as a premiere manufacturer of Custom Car Covers, Custom Seat Covers and many other automobile accessories in the United States.
Expertise gained from a long association with the Aerospace Defense unit had provided the founder with ample knowledge about utilizing micro-computer based equipment, which he had then deftly employed in manufacturing automobile upholstery.
Encouraged with the early success, Coverking then embarked on a novel plan of utilizing the CAD/CAM process and other modern technologies and applying them to the making of other automobile accessories. And the results were fabulous. As the newly made products proved economical in manufacturing and superb in finish, Coverking never looked back. Needless to say, the customers loved these products and the company became a favored brand.
Computer aided designs as well as the manufacturing process in the production proved so perfect that Coverking was soon able to cut a niche for itself in the trade. The US auto giant GM gave the company free permission to use the celebrated GM™ logo on their products exclusively made for GM vehicles. Coverking became the most sought after vehicle upholstery manufacturer in the States. Added on to this were the coveted QS9000 and TS16949 Quality Certifications in the field of car cover and seat cover manufacturing that was awarded to the company Coverking in acknowledgement of their excellent workmanship and superb finish.
